Pros
Wonderfully diverse student body in so many ways:race, ethnicity, class, religion etc. well resourced technologically and lots of opportunities within university for career growth.
Cons
Very centralized administratively — ie faculty voice in governance is weak. Though this depends largely on one’s department or school and it’s particular leadership. Also RU New Brunswick is very spread out geographically and in that sense, it lacks a center, a “heart” to the campus and to student and faculty life. This undermines the always elusive quality of RU being a true “community”.
