Pros

Paid sales training, confidence building, great earning potential and resume builder

Cons

Scheduled days off are either Tues/Wed or Thurs/Fri. Working nights and weekends are mandatory... In order to be successful and meet quota working overtime is a must. Not only do you have to man a model home 40hours a week but you have to be flexible when a client wants to meet you at 7pm for a 2 hour appointment.

Pros

great training program and good support from managers, best large builder in the industry with very deep market penetration. did i say great training? the people who have made it through are very capable, so you are not working with anyone who doesn't pull their own weight

Cons

information concerning your situation is not quickly communicated to the field, nearly no opportunity for advancement currently; management can be unrealistic about pricing and volume; you get a very limited scope of responsibility and are not encouraged to think outside that box and take on additional responsibility, the common phrase here is "don't reinvent the wheel"
