Great place to work

Pros

-Flexible vacation (they don't count vacation time as long as you're on top of your client obligations) -Great paternity leave @ 4 weeks -Exciting growth. I've worked for companies before that constantly failed to meet revenue goals. Ryan is crushing them consistently -Good people spread all over the world -Potential for career growth. I'm in my early 30's and could easily see myself working here until retirement age. There's enough potential to move up and laterally into different service areas. -Pretty good health insurance. Sure beats my last company. -Nice office space. Ryan only leases nice spaces so it's a pleasure to be in the office.

Cons

The only con I can think of, and it is being addressed aggressively, is that there have been some growing pains. The company grew too fast and a lot of approvals were bottlenecked for awhile. Sometimes you feel like you can't buy a pencil until the CEO signs off on it. However, this is being aggressively addressed over the last year with the implementation of various technology such as Workday and a more robust approval process.

Happy, working Mom

Pros

My job is flexible, and as a working mom, that is the best part of my job. I am challenged daily and I enjoy my work, which I know many of my friends and family at other firms cannot say. Upper management has recently implemented monthly calls to keep all employees informed on developments that affect employees. Ryan also places an emphasis on giving back to the community through Habitat for Humanity and other volunteering opportunities.

Cons

There are negatives at every company. The hardware needs are constantly evolving and Ryan is occasionally lagging. There is a new CIO and the firm seems to be stepping it up.

Great Company to Work For

Pros

I have worked for a Big Four firm, a boutique firm, and a Fortune 100 company. While each workplace had pros and cons, I would say Ryan has been the best place to work. There is leadership and a coherent vision. The vast majority of my fellow employees are top-notch and there is a feeling like you can, and are encouraged to, grow and advance. But, probably most important for me, is the fact there is real flexibility here. I am a single mother of two kindergarten-age kids. I drop my kids off at school - it's no problem for my boss that my workday begins about 9am. I've been able to attend mid-day school functions without guilt, knowing that I can rearrange my work hours if I need to. I work in a city where we have some days where snow makes driving stressful and unsafe. In general, it's okay to work from home those days. All this flexibility makes me work harder for Ryan.

Cons

There is a lot of focus on meeting revenue goals, which can be add an element of stress when we are performing at our absolute best.
