      Pros

      Good work-life balance. The Stock Purchase Plan is one of the best perks Ryder offers. The also do a % match to 401k.

      Cons

      The pay is lower in some areas than others. Some areas of the business works in silos, where unless you step out of that business you really don't get a feel for the real Ryder environment.

      WAS a great job 20 years ago, pay incentives, great salary,vacation...etc use to have great management team. now forget it, don't even think about getting into this industry way better ways to make a living.

      Cons

      all the accounts have a gimme gimme attitude, work harder faster while on the other side of there mouths safety safety..nobody cares anymore..they loose accounts, what seems like all the time now, then your stuck...oh well.

      Pros

      Excellent co-workers. Good resources: computers, software, subject experts. Pay and benefits were good. They were very understanding when I had to deal with illness or deaths in the family.

      Cons

      Management did not do a good job of managing customer's expectations. If the customer wanted any new project, it was assigned to the team, without additional resources. Some of the best team members left for other companies for better pay and a reasonable work-load.
