      Pros

      Pay was decent. Managers didn't really breathe down my neck. Day to day work was interesting.

      Cons

      Ryder is notorious for having a bad 3rd quarter and then letting a bunch of people go right before Christmas. I saw this in the 2 and 1/2 years I worked there multiple times. I was one of these victims. They ended up closing the office I worked in (with zero notice) and moving the jobs to headquarters and the Shared Service Center in GA.

      micro manage drivers . driver facing cameras , poor managers not qualified to do the jobs that they are hired to do .
