Pros

Can make descent money due to a lot of overtime. Will make you a supertrucker at backing up, backed up about 10 times an hour.

Cons

Management has no clue what's going on, and treat you like crap. There is excessive forced overtime that they don't tell you about when they hire you. I worked an average of about 70 hrs in a 5 day week, which is not like 14 hrs straight its split up so you only get an hour or 2 sleep here and there in your personal vehicle. I worked 90.75 hrs in a 6 day week once.

Pros

New accounts can pay well/however, when your account ends ,you are either without a job or you are placed in a low paying shuttle driver job. When new accounts that pay well start ,the jobs are given to people on the street, because it is easier to hire someone off the street for good pay ,than to get someone to take a job of low pay that you have been put on. This is not a good long term career for a driver. Other drivers you encounter with any long term tenure , constantly surprise me with the fact they have been there so long with little pay. I will let you make your assumptions of that observation.

Cons

I could not see a proven track record of this company being able to keep an account after a 3 year contract is up .Not just the account I was on. The customer and driver are looked at as temporary-therefore you are treated that way. Protect your license .They will strongly and rudely ,push drivers to drive unregistered vehicles, and noncompliant loads . Contracts start with low bids ,and the shoestring budget gets worse with every day. We started with not enough trucks , could not get tires changed , lots of faulty equipment. DOT was constantly looking for us. I knew this was something I was not going to do long ,and it was obvious that this account was not going to be kept despite managements saying other. I moved on before the contract was up. Made some money while I was there though.
