There is a huge disconnect between upper management and everyone else. There doesn't seem to be any direction except to make a sell. A 3-5 year plan has never been given to employees. Everything seems to be by the seat of someone's pants. We hear how we are a small company and only make so much in revenue, but sales retreats are still allowed, people are flown all of the over the world at the drop of a hat, etc.. Instead of trying to cut real costs management seems to think laying people off is the way to cut the bottom line. This does nothing but hurt morale and gets rid of experienced people. People are expected to cancel plans at the drop of a hat and there is no consideration for people's free time out of work. This is not a place to work if you have a family or like to do anything outside of work. Too much dependency is given to people in India who don't have American banking experience. This leads to poor quality and bad coding. Raises are non-existent and there is no pay for performance. Benefits are AWFUL and continuously increase every year.
