Pros

Some co-workers that can become very good friends

Cons

From upper management, CEO, area manager and HR, the whole atmosphere sucks. Lots of micromanagement, lack of respect for hard working employees, lack of opportunity to grow, high turnover of good people. Managers that were good and were working for the employees to ensure that everyone was treated with respect and listened to all of the employees' concerns were let go. They demand a lot from everyone for low pay and they won't appreciate the efforts made by everyone on a daily basis. The expectations are higher every day and they look the other way when someone has exceeded those expectations. Department 's manager is just clueless about the job and when something goes wrong is the first to point the finger in order to keep his own job. HR is never available and can care less about you and your concerns. If you have a complaint and and expect they will do anything about it, forget it, they will probably go to the manager and will put you on the spot. From there on you are pretty much alone. Everything you do from that moment on will be watched and one little mistake and you are out. By the way , don't expect any bonus or any type of gratification besides the salary that you get. I would not recommend to anyone to work there. On the contrary, I would tell them to stay as far away as possible, because the whole environment is very demeaning and no one respects your ideas and much less your work.

Don't do it

Pros

Gym on site. Good location. Good benefits. Chance for overtime.

Cons

HR department is an absolute nightmare to deal with. If you have any kind of issue, you're better off keeping it to yourself. I witnessed someone get terminated because they complained to HR that their boss was rude and screamed at them all the time. Members will call in screaming, hollering, and wishing death upon you. You are answering quesitons about 3 different credit unions and policies seem to change everyday. Training was terrible and is a lot to take in. At first the FISH philosophy was taught and inspired. But that dissapeared quickly after a few weeks of working there. Managers seem to have a "that's not my job" attitude and it was very difficult to get a manager to speak with an irritated member. The company is looking for simple cyborgs to hire. Not someone with goals and aspirations.
