Great company if you are looking to slow down

Pros

Flexible work schedule , daycare, and a chance to see your work on shelf

Cons

Training is non existent. I think they should really take more time in developing managers. I believe they could get a lot more out of their employees if management was properly trained on HOW to manage people. People management is NOT project management.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to learn of your frustration and we will pass your comments on to the appropriate team. Our company, like others in our industry, has recently undergone a number of organizational and process changes which led to team changes and headcount reductions. As a result, some areas’ roles are still being ironed out. We understand how that can be challenging. And while difficult, the changes we made are designed to help us become stronger as a company. In fact, the company has invested in and implemented leadership training for people managers and will continue to support programs that develop the skills and abilities of our people through on-the-job training and education and development programs.

Look elsewhere...terrible management dynamics & morale

Pros

You get to work all the time - long days/nights/weekends. Sunday projects from bosses for Monday meetings...fun! The credit for your Good Work will be overlooked and taken by your boss. All decisions are made from out of touch upper tier directors/VP's. If you like outsourced internal providers that have no stake, this is your place. Narcissistic Senior Level management is crushing to morale. Group/consensus think rules - no one to blame (Dir/VP's) in group think except worker bees. Risk averse culture - stagnant innovation. Lots of failed initiatives due to upper level control and no trust of worker bees insight, experience, and intelligence. Might be a "Family" company, just NOT "Your Family".

Cons

Moving work out of Racine Losing long term employees that know the business and turning it over to "outsiders". Most of the upper management (Sr. Directors/V.P.'s/EVP's) are influenced only by their own KPI's...crush everything down stream that will get in the way of their own performance/rewards.

Pros

Nice campus. Great employee benefits including the company store. The company also has a nice philanthropic arm.

Cons

Don't work in Communications or Public Affairs. Unfortunately the team deals with negative leadership, hence the reason for high turnover.
