Pros

Good work environment; Recognition culture; Management empowers people to bring new ideas; Opportunities to learn and grow SCJ values; they care about people

Cons

IT is a nightmare: systems, hardware, processes Pressure to achieve short-term goals (SOM, profit) sometimes compromises brand´s long term sustainability plans Less and less work life balance; specially after "Transformation" Sense of favoritism when promoting people

Leadership...or lack there of

Pros

Generous pay and benefits. Onsite fitness centers, cafes and clinics (in Racine). Summer hours and holiday shutdown week (again, in Racine).

Cons

Extremely hierarchical and too many layers of management. Decision making needs to be pushed down into the organization, too much needs to go all the way to the top. Some areas are overworked but others are underutilized, sitting stagnant waiting for approvals or decisions to be made. Communications is especially challenging to work with and stifle more than they support the business functions. Antiquated systems and processes. Telecommuting policy is far too rigid.
