Pros

Working with the business side has been very enjoyable with very loyalty staff and dedication to a high standard.

Cons

The IT organization is one of the poorest run one’s I’ve ever been in. Lack of direction, tight budgets, lack of vision, and not seen as a partner, but an object to go around.

Bay City Site

Pros

They feed you a lot and plan some decent employee events.

Cons

Company may be good to work for at other locations but the Bay City site is a mess. Nepotism, favoritism, cronyism, you name it. If you know someone who works there you'll move up. It's not about how good you are at your job, it's about who you know. If you work in production and can get OT there's A LOT of money to be made. Outside of that this place is horrible. High deductible insurance. Poor management. Cost cutting that leads to understaffing and safety issues. Would not recommend them as an employer, ever.

Attempting to make change with no clear direction or plan

Pros

Cash flow is solid, so paychecks come regularly. The company culture (a Family Company) was quite valuable. I'm not sure how much longer that will be around.

Cons

Far too many changes (hires from the outside) within management (and executives) the past few years. Each new person wants to leave his/her mark by instituting change. Unfortunately, all the various changes are left unchecked and do not mesh well with other functions. This leaves problems and issues throughout the entire organization.
