New "Lean" program is killing this company. Moral is at its lowest in 20 years. Since the lean "transformation" this company is losing excellent, experienced people because of all the extra, and senseless work they are demanding from its employees.
Slow to hire people in key positions so constantly running short is a big problem causing big time burn out. Management does not care about its employees anymore. Since Sam died, the company has been on a downward spiral. Work life balance may exist if you are a day staff person, or management but if you are in manufacturing plant, forget it.
Between all the "lean" tools that are supposed to make our job easier, you have loaded your staff with so much "garbage" to do and paperwork that we have no time to concentrate on the job we were hired to do.
Unless you have a degree, forget moving up in this company. They won't even look at you for a promotion to even the most menial day position unless you have a degree.
