Great coworkers and benefits, but leadership lacks diversity

Nepotism rules here. Many key leaders come from the same organization the CEO was at previously creating a “good ole boys” feel where outside opinions are not considered. Clinical leadership is extremely homogeneous with physicians why have minimal operational experience at the top and no nursing representation at the VP+ level. Nursing is the largest clinical profession at the organization and it is not represented in clinical leadership. They have a great cultural language, but the actions of senior leaders do not reflect it. There is no work life balance. Leaders are expected to be available at all hours and solve problems on human heroics as opposed to building effective systems and infrastructure.

Supportive team and meaningful work. Company with a strong focus on employee well-being, so a healthy work-life balance is a priority. Another plus is that things move quickly and days rarely feel repetitive. Solid benefits, pay, and support from management.

Cons

Busy clinic days can be overwhelming.
