Pros

A few great educators- could be much better with more appropriate professional development. Higher salary than other states in the south.

Cons

School system as a whole was worried about the wrong things. Couldn't stick with an initiative before moving to the next thing. People were in high positions who did not need to be there. Teachers were not nearly as dedicated to the profession as in other systems.

Pros

I liked some of the teachers I worked with.

Cons

As a whole, the district is unorganized, and they show no support for the faculty and staff at the schools. The only time they seem to show concern for anyone's well being is when a parent complains or the media has eyes on them.
