      Pros

      SEA CORP offers a competitive benefits package (including an 8% 401k match), flexible schedules, several employee events throughout the year (golf tournaments, barbecues, etc.), and in general has a great sense of family.

      Cons

      Employment in the world of contracting is never guaranteed. So when a contract is lost, SEA CORP is not always able to retain every employee; however, most managers work together to move good employees around and keep them on.

      Pros

      great benefits, small company, paid per hour (ie. work 50 hours a week, get paid for that 50 hours), schedule can be flexible, lots of opportunity

      Cons

      Sometimes not a lot of freedom in what you code, very clear cut requirements, still need to deal with government bureaucracy from time to time

      Pros

      Flexible schedule, great work life balance and great working environment.

      Cons

      Things move through the system pretty slowly, whether it be reviews, IT requests, material requests....they all need to go through a chain of approvals that often slows the process substantially.

      Thank you for your feedback! I am very glad to hear that you have been happy working here. We are aware that our current system of approvals can move very slowly at times. Because of this, we have new procedures for several of the approval-chain processes in the works in hopes of improving the process for all involved.
