Pros

The hours are great, the people are kind and want to help you. I was in Corp Fin so maybe it changes based on your division but I loved the work and experience I had there.

Cons

Obviously, it's the government so there were some drawbacks in terms of efficiency and whenever I needed IT help it was a whole thing because the people in the IT department were servicing so many computers in any given day

Pros

Very good work-life balance overall, many smart people, and meaningful work.

Cons

Some leaders are very quick to jump to conclusions, and then even quicker to jump down your throat. Their management (not leadership) approach creates a toxic work environment that slows production to a crawl and results in subordinates refusing to engage at all. Whenever a question is asked - no matter how innocent or benign - multiple hours of meetings, explanations, and extra work take place. Several employees have requested to be reassigned or quit in order to get away from this specific environment.
