      Stay away from this bad management, cross contaminating company. Who do not care about employee safety.

      Few good people to work with.

      Cons

      Poor management, from HR, to safety, production and quality. There are a lot of safety concerns in which no one does anything about when brought to their attention. Most people do not follow the cGMP and management don’t care about it. All they care about is productivity. If you have experience and really want to learn and also apply what you have learnt I will strongly encourage you to stay away from SK Food group. I am 100% sure the plant might shut down sooner or later if external auditors really do their job right.

      Pros

      Decent pay, great benefits. The leads and supervisors are young, nice and treat people fair. Very diverse group of employees make it fun environment.

      Cons

      High turnovers, unfortunately most quitting are Americans dreaming with a perfect job with higher pay but do not have the experience or education.

      SK Foods does not pay time and a half for OT

      Flexible swing shift schedule

      Cons

      SK Foods DOES NOT PAY their employees time and a half when working more than 40 hours a week or after 8 hours working in a day which is considered to be over time. This is the only company I had worked for that WILL NOT PAY employees the 1.5 OT rate. Worst is they make you work Saturdays and Sundays.
