Pros
Fantastic diversity with employees from every nation around the world. Very selective with very intelligent and capable people. SLB is continuously developing it's people.
Cons
Service side of the industry is not as lucrative, long hours and not as many benefits as operators. The company tends to be quite brutal in a down turn. It let's go people in large quantities only to hire many back as soon as the cycle changes. Can be an emotional roller-coaster.
