Cons
- HR : Bad Recruitment Practices. Promises are given which is defaulted on. 3 years bond for Freshers... need to pay back 1 lack rupees if you leave SLK before 3 years. Fresher candidate will be working like donkey with less pay for 3 years. 15 months appraisal process for Lateral candidates. SLK won't bother to retain good employees because SLK has huge number for bonded labors (oops freshers). Try to negotiate as much as possible while joining SLK. - Management : Can not believe in them. Like HR, they would say anything to get their work done. They hardly care about employee. - Salary: Pay is peanut... has large part as variable component while is given at half-yearly / year-end. If you leave in between, you will loose the variable pay. - Notice Period : 3 Months. This makes sure that people have difficulty in leaving. While joining, they will try to get in 15 days. - Infrastructure : Like a prison... you can't use your cell phone inside work area, CCTVs are installed here and there to track your activity. For surfing internet you need to go to browsing zone which has max. 10 PCs and you need to wait for at least 1 hour to get a PC (only if anyone feels tired) Need to stay minimum 9 hours in office even if you don't have any work... otherwise no pay.
