Pros

Once (and if) you earn your supervisors' trust and respect, there is flexibility. Across different departments you can see employees being able to work remotely for personal reasons including illness or family related circumstances. There are many talented people who are very good at their jobs. You can easily identify those people and learn from them. They are also open to helping you out and answer questions. As a Program Coordinator you can learn a lot of useful things. This includes many transferrable skills. It's a great position for someone seeking a full-time entry level position with no similar prior experience, but you have to be able to put in the work to do well.

Cons

The turnover rate is insane but there are very good reasons why. The following are only a couple of those reasons. The training for this role sets you up for failure. It's really either you're good at learning and taking initiative to ask questions -- or not. The pay is ridiculously low. You have to be assertive when it comes to raises. MANY people have left due to this. Overall, this is a very good position for someone at the very beginning of their career. You can gain a ton of experience and have exposure to top companies all over the world. However, I cannot imagine an experienced job seeker considering this company for any kind of role.

Leadership is a joke

Pros

Company does have steady revenue and throws great parties.

Cons

Leadership is a joke. The infighting between the VP of Sales and EVP is comical. Two kids fighting over the last piece of candy. The CEO spends more time on his elliptical machine working out than paying attention to the company itself. Owners are completely detached. Very sad considering the company has great potential and a huge opportunity within a growing market.

Very Poor Communication Throughout the Organization

Pros

Tons of work - client has many suppliers producing many components in numerous locations both domestic and overseas. This makes the job very hectic.

Cons

Communication, when it existed, was always rushed, leading to many misunderstandings of what was to be done and by whom. The communications to client's suppliers was worse - the suppliers were going in all directions because they hadn't been told what the goals were
