They are on that list of best companies to work for.

Cons

They lied about the 100% of the job description that they hired me for. They hired me to be a hands on technical team lead. When I arrived at the job site, they didn't have a team for me to lead. They stuck me on a routine task for nearly my entire tenure rather than providing me the opportunity to work with new cutting edge technologies as promised in my interview. The person I interviewed with was there, but not in the role of project manager that he expected to be in, so that left me working for a person whom I would never have choosen to work for. The program manager came to the job site once in 6 months. Once for a client meeting, once to fire the project manager.

Pros

Better than average compensation. Benefits are pretty good. Non-elitist and generally nice co-workers. Wide range of projects and contracts to work on. Great company parties.

Cons

As mentioned in previous reviews, very HQ centric when it comes to recognition and moving up the ladder. Sometimes working off-site, you don't feel like you are working for SRA because of the lack of contact from senior management. Unless you visit HQ often, or browse the website frequently, you can become uninformed fairly quick. Stock seems to be heavily owned by employees, which until somewhat recently, bloated the share price.

Still the best technical talent for public sector work. You will be challenged to excel, and you will support vital missions that matter.

Cons

HQ-centric recognition and promotion depresses morale, imperfect acquisition integration increases attrition from new firms.
