      Pros

      It is like a family, good enviroment, nice place to start your job life and growing up fast if you show the good skills according with SSP Targets. If you like customer services, SSP offer you a lot of possibilities to improve this skill with them.

      Cons

      Less staff working arround you, so that mean less support at work. Sometimes can be stressful, hard and even pressured. Anyway this kind of job need to be like that.

      a manic roller coaster full of ups and downs and i loved it

      Pros

      worklife is manic and fast paced. the benefits of progressing are awesome. i worked in M&S Paddington and a manager see something special in me that no one else noticed. i had to prove myself and work very hard to get through pathfinder and discovery and with a fantastic mentor i passed. SSP do try just sometimes they get it wrong but lets be honest who doesn't . i had a fantastic team and i enjoyed the 5 years i worked there. yes i would do it again and i wouldn't change a thing. SSP was also fair people might say we had to many investigations but this also gave the person in question to fight their corner.

      Cons

      unfortunately there are no staff discounts only a meal voucher. i could understand why we couldn't get it in M&S due to having to liaise with M&S head office, but no discount outside of that. only a meal voucher which was also limited on what you could have. BOH was small and cramped the office was sometimes like getting sardines in a tin.

      interaction with customers great, interaction with fellow workers great, home made baking in the unit very good and popular with customers

      Cons

      no interaction with management if you dont fit in, never informed when shift is changed or the start time is changed from original rota
