Pros

Great pay. Freedom to go from store to store, not tied down to any one possition. Dealing with customer from every nook n cranny you can possibly think of, great experience.

Cons

Union often got there way and problem employees were brought back after termination. Made it difficult to have everyone follow rules. Most managers just turned a blind eye.

Pros

$20 per day food card

Cons

Everything. Ssp is unorganized, unprofessional, ungrateful and cheap. They treat their employees like criminals. There are cameras everywhere, they don't allow you to buy seafood with your employee meal card and they don't pay well at all.

Some locations have excellent Managers.

Cons

They once really focused on customer satisfaction and employee engagement. Then it became only the bottom line....forgetting the 2 components above create the best EBITA in the long run and long term.
