Pros

Get to teach what you're excited about Can use this as an opportunity for self-growth

Cons

Takes a LOT of energy & loud voice to manage large groups, especially if you do not have a supporting colleague, or if they are not proactive. Some kids in this program are not good listeners/ don't want to be there. Takes energy to prepare special lessons & materials. For better or worse, you only get to teach your own curriculum 2 days a week, max Practicing the play/musical, which happened 2x/year, was an ordeal--stressful managing kids and getting them to follow instructions/ stay quiet

Cons

low pay management is going backwards I rather get a raise than snacks cluster leaders can't do their jobs right I asked who the HR person was, but no one knew (unbelievable) disorganized There's this lady that calls you because you did not clock in right, I heard bad things about her, so watch out for her.

Pros

Working with the children is great.

Cons

Where do I begin? Soooo 1. They have you driving all over LA county everyday. So if you don’t want to sit in traffic for not even a 2 hour shift don’t do this... This company is so UNORGANIZED! I’ve never worked for a company where the communication is just not there. They expect you to know things when no one explained it to you in the beginning. I can describe this company as petty. They will call you out on the littlest things. The owners of this company think they are royalty and treat their employees like crap. It’s a cute job but as a career I am headed down a dead end road
