      It’s a mess (at least in tech)

      Pros

      It is remote. And salaries are decent, at least in tech.

      Cons

      They set up their junior tech talent up for failure pretty much immediately by outsourcing many senior roles halfway across to world. This both severely limits mentorship/teamwork due to time zone limitations and means there is zero room for growth. And then when that predictably fails, they blame the juniors and turn them over like pancakes. It’s an organizational nightmare, and the recent layoffs were not surprising. Also, management did a very poor job of giving honest feedback.

      Pros

      Great benefits and responsive HR team. Flexible work envrionment. Decent pay and a large variety of projects.

      Cons

      Cliques, Often in crisis mode, Micro-management. Products sacrifice quality often. Leaders seem to lead from a position of fear and job loss. This might be well founded. There was a recent RIFF.

      1. It's a great remote work environment and does not force RTO. 2. 4% 401K match.

      Cons

      1. Management is getting all the bonuses while other employees aren't. 2. No room for career growth. 3. There is a lack of communication from the department.
