      Very outdated policies and environment, collaboration is discouraged between departments

      Pros

      -Free unlimited Starbucks. -coworkers at the same level or lower were mostly friendly.

      Cons

      -During my first week I was made aware not to make to talk or even make eye contact with anyone in senior management. -I was required to ask permission to use the restroom. -all of my work could have been completed remotely, yet that was not acceptable even though all management works fully remote. Some of them were literally on the beach during zoom meetings. -favoritism was extremely high. -Entire office was under renovations yet we were still not allowed to work remotely, even if noise was extremely distracting.

      They have a maternity leave.

      Cons

      The maternity leave is pitiful compared to today’s standards. TEN days fully-paid and 10 days partial pay. Following that you can take what is federally allowed under short term disability (partial pay) or use PTO (as if birth is a vacation).

      The following cons are for L&T employees only: 1) The employees are supposed to work 8 am to 6 pm, and taking a lunch break is frowned upon. 2) Very high expectations, I was asked to give KT in the first week of joining. 3) There is no network in the office, so you would have to leave the office even to make a call or order food. 4)The campus is isolated with no restaurants nearby, the lawn does not have benches either. You would have to eat at your table and get frowned upon for doing so.
