Great autonomy to run projects as I wanted.

Cons

There are a lot of engineers and drafters who have been working in the same job for over 20 yrs and have no interest in improvement.

Excellent benefits if you stay more than 5 years with the firm. PTO better than most companies, excellent ESOP program (better than 401k match for most companies; and ESOP doing great), great benefits for passing PE, very supportive of training needs, lot of development option within the firm, flexible work hours, good technology use. The Baltimore office was fun, energetic people, good projects, caring management and admin staff.

Cons

Not all offices perform equally. Longer stay rewarded but similarly incompetent people are retained to encourage longer stay with the firm.
