      Pros

      Flat structure without any bureaucracy. Easy to see the impact of your work. Friendly and collaborative work environment. Low churn rate so you build long relationships with coworkers.

      Cons

      Small firm so might not have the opportunity to try different roles as might be possible in a bigger firm

      A great place for career start

      Pros

      Perfect work life balance, no extra hours unless you take initiative. Entrepreneur environment, will learn a lot if you are really interested in trading industry and willing to learn more. Colleagues are graduated from top colleges. They are hardworking, responsible and creative. Great location, in the center of loop and close to many public transportation like Metra.

      Cons

      Strategy teams are divided into small sub-teams and usually no communication among sub-teams. It's good news if you are competitive and highly skilled. But it's kind of crucial for new employees since they have less colleagues to learn from. Gender ratio is little deviated.

      Stable place to work and learn

      Pros

      I enjoy the team that I work with. I enjoy that as a mid sized proprietary firm I feel like I can have large impact.

      Cons

      As a small team, I am able to have a lot of responsibility. That is a good thing, but it's harder than some jobs I've had in big tech where I was able to relax more.
