Pros

-Salary is a bit under market but not bad -Benefits not bad

Cons

Toxic back stabbing culture. Nepotism and and US based employee promotions becoming the majority. Multiple rounds of layoffs in 2017 and probably quarterly. No innovation. Constant cash grab and run executive turnover. New execs technical but recreating silos. Bonuses are tampered with by several layers beyond manager and are not guarenteed therefore if you make below market midpoint you are often underpaid.

Pros

Salaries are competitive at the Senior individual contributor level.

Cons

- They do not care about employees. The leadership is completely disinterested in the well-being of employees and does not see the value in promoting an engaging work culture. - Massive Layoffs - Lackluster benefits - Terrible office culture - No diversity and inclusion efforts - Disjointed business - Simply a place to grow your experience, get the money, and GO! Don't give this place more than 2 years of your time.

Pros

The people you work with day-to-day make it worth coming into work. The buildings are very modern and have a very open environment. The company is committed to a greener environmental effort and contributes to local charities and the community often.

Cons

Lack of growth both professionally and technologically. Still stuck in their old American Airlines paradigm of doing things. They are a travel company - not a technology company. Far too top-heavy with non-producing executives - a constant issue at Sabre. Very poor internal training. Especially for new hires. Too much emphasis on yearly goal creation and performance reviews. Employee's performance reviews are rated on a curve - which means even if you achieve your goals you can be rated unsuccessful - which affects any bonuses, salary increases, promotions and the ability to move to other positions within the company. So where's the motivation to excel? Layoffs. Layoffs. Layoffs.
