Pros

Seem to value their employees - very supportive managers. Open lines of communication - try to build community among staff and employees. Raises come automatically at regular intervals. Decent benefits package - some company match in 401K.

Cons

Niche company specializing in technology solutions for military and government, so rather narrow field of opportunities. Vacation time is very limited at first, although more holidays than usual.

Pros

Flexible work hours. Small size company less bureaucracy than larger size companies. Interesting work, depending on location and position. More job stability due to government contract work, providing of course contract gets renewed. Management does care about its employees and are conscientious with regard to contract performance.

Cons

Government contracts cap salaries - little opportunity for growth. Benefits not as good as commercial sector. Capital budgets very limited due to nature of business.
