Pros

-Learn the workings of a SaaS company -Work with some cool people

Cons

- Product development is stagnant and inconsistent. New features were repeatedly released half-baked and created more issues than good. Promised features and functionality are never delivered on time leaving customers hanging. - The US leadership team is disorganized, unreliable, and unprofessional. - There is no career development, coaching, or training. Employees were often left to figure things out on their own without the resources to succeed. - The US and UK teams are completely disjointed. Communication is severely lacking, and often times teams were pitted against each in an us vs. them mentality.

Pros

Good benefits and working with a good group of people.

Cons

Management is not promoted from within and turnover rate is high. The level an employee is hired is the level they will likely stay. In my 4 year tenure I saw a lot of new hires in positoin, but little if any pomotion from within.

Thanks for your feedback. Sage knows it makes sense to promote our own people and we are determined to do more of this. 26% of our vacancies go to internal candidates and in some countries this is as high as 45% which demonstrates the value we place of developing colleagues at Sage. Our goal is FY18 is to have an internal hire rate globally at 35%
