Pros

The company culture changes rapidly from “Great” to “Good” to “Wait a sec here” and now “what’s going on here?!” just within the past few years. Knowledgeable and dedicated people to work with, most of them have great common senses on day to day business/performance. Sage does provide all round benefit coverage at an average market price for all employees, although it covers all general areas but there are many better options that Sage could have selected for its employees.

Cons

Work and life balance is a challenge, with the struggles between the business, leadership and the goals they are trying to achieve after numerous shortfalls, it’s just unrealistic.

Thanks for your review. It's great that our people are awesome - you're right, they are so knowledgeable. That's what makes Sage great, our people. Talking of knowledgeable and dedicated people - our Reward Team are just that, and they work hard to ensure our pay, benefits, rewards etc are competitive. Many of our colleagues do achieve a positive work life balance - and that's important to us as it's a win-win. May I suggest speaking to your manager about how this can be achieved as we all know the benefits of a good WLB. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

There are lots of great people at Sage who work hard and will help you out to achieve the goals.

Cons

Many have been at Sage for over 15 years and continue to do it the way it has always been done. They are stuck in the past and will revert back to that. If you are not open to the ways of the past and/or able to kiss it a little, then you will not last long. Watch out for knives at times.
