Pros

The people and the benefits are great. It's a good company that takes care of it's people.

Cons

There is a lack of communication between departments and there are not many ways to advance.

Pros

Benefits are extremely good. Privately held company (blessing and a curse). Multiple office locations, allow for some remote positions. If you can fit in with the cool kids then you probably will retire there. Several great and talented people from other HED companies that bring a reality of the market to an otherwise inwardly thinking management team. Aspirational company mission which falls short because managers are on over their heads.

Cons

Because company is privately owned, living in their own insulated world apart from the real competitive market they don’t understand their place in the HED space. They are growing very quickly with a management team that really has no idea of what they are doing. Currently their world is great because the are seeing very nice growth. This will only last for so long. Because of the inexperience of the management team they are trying to expand into markets they have no business being in. Consequently pressure is on mid to lower level employees to outperform at the cost of very top heavy management who inexperienced, a bit arrogant and while they won’t admit it, learning on the job. High turnover at mid to lower level positions will torment this company for years unless they figure out what they are doing and what they want. Culture between West and East coasts is noticeable. Additionally if you aren’t part of the “club” you won’t last, upper management seems to favor those who can play the game rather than those who add value, perform and who speak candidly- sometimes saying things Leadership doesn’t want to hear. Bottom line...if you have good “BS” game and can survive/excel without performing this is the place for you. Enjoy the benefits!

Pros

- Good people at core level - Work life balance - Good work culture

Cons

- Diversity only at core level not in the management - Top management: no touch with reality - Black and Ethnic minorities can only be accepted at core and mid level - Lot of favouritism - Underlying bullying by smart managers
