Pros

If you're looking for a place to call home, look no further than SageNet. I call this my work "family" in every since of the word. I feel like the executive team and my personal managers truly care for me and all their employees. Some decisions are more popular than others however, I never question the sincerity. Being in the tech industry I agree w/ the popular phrase "evolve or die". SageNet's attempt to combat this is 2 fold. First, the company has invested heavily in internal process/system improvements over the years. Secondly, the company has evolved through acquisitions for which I have seen 4. Not only are we acquiring businesses, customers, revenue streams but we are also acquiring people and different work cultures. All come with their own sets of challenges however, each challenge has been greeted with career opportunities/growth or advancement for me. With all the stereotypes describing our society today; cancel culture, great resignation, "now" generation, etc... SageNet understands it all and works through it by rewarding honest, hard working, and resilient employees who are willing to put in the time and effort to prove their worth.

Cons

Can't agree with every decision made over the years however, the opportunities they offer their employees and the culture they've created is something I can get behind.

Pros

- Excellent accepting place to work and learn in the NOC setting. Different teams offer different challenges. - Get your CCNA, work in the NOC to build experience and see where you want to go in your networking or security career from there. - NOC is kept separate from the rest of the business, but CEO Brad is working to improve the rift between the two sides of the business. - Communication from upper management is improving, and CEO takes and responds to all anonymous communications which is sincere and appreciated. - Stead work, company is large enough at this point if you want stead work you will get it, OT is rarely approved and very rarely required. - Good opportunity to move up and out of the NOC if your focus is taking on challenges.

Cons

- Culture is more positive/relaxed to professional services side of the business. - Compensation offered by others is significantly higher, you will always lose your best employees to competition if this is kept up. It's short term good for the company, long term; Not optimal. - Company offers sub-standard level benefits, starting with 15 days PTO for new employees, no paid sick time, no paid time off for getting certs even when sponsored by the company!

Pros

I enjoy all of the great people I work with and for! Management cares about me as a person and an employee. The working environment is relaxed and management has offered flexible work arrangements since the pandemic. We have grown through multiple acquisitions which has given me some great opportunities to grow and advance.

Cons

As with all companies, teamwork between departments is difficult through growth phases of business. Continuous efforts in this area help to improve this each and every day.
