Pros

SageNet is a company who cares about their employees. While many employers have struggled through 2020 and we are no exception, they have continued to do all they can to support their employees.

Cons

Small company mindset that is too big to still think small. Causes the few superstars on each team to support the company.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We’re glad to hear that your experience was overall a positive one! 2020 absolutely posed its challenges, but our priority always has been (& will continue to be) the health and safety of our associates. We’re glad to hear you felt cared for during this trying year. We are disappointed you didn’t always feel you had the tools to succeed. We’re always investing in new tech and tools to complement our employee’s talents. And we hope our technology will continue to keep up with and support our incredible employees!

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone. While many employees have been able to work from home during the pandemic, within essential businesses there are functions that require a physical presence. In our case that includes our incredible Test and Turn-up team. They have worked diligently throughout the pandemic to support our customers who are essential businesses as well - such as c-stores, quick serve restaurants and healthcare providers. We couldn’t be prouder of the job our teams in our NOCs, TTUP, and data centers have done, and continue to do. We value and respect their contributions immensely. That said, we are always looking to improve and are open to any recommendations our associates may have. We encourage you to reach out to our HR team at sagenetHR@sagenet.com if you have additional ideas!

Thank you so much for your feedback! Our priority is definitely our people, so we’re glad to hear that you feel valued by leadership! And thank you for the advice. It’s difficult to hear that people in the organization don’t seem to be pulling their weight – that’s certainly frustrating for all involved. We do our best to help underperformers grow and learn. And we also work hard to recognize and respond appropriately in those cases when an individual just isn’t a good fit for our organization. If there is ever anyone, however, that is creating a toxic environment for you, we ask that you bring that to the attention of your supervisor or our HR team. You can do so via email, phone, or through the anonymous suggestion box on the HR SharePoint page.
