Pros

Great benefits and competitive pay.

Cons

No goals. Never seen a place in this industry where every employee doesnt come in and know what they should beat today. No goals means no improvement. Leading to low morale.

Pros

This company has a great benefit program with 100% employer paid health insurance, an employer matched 401k and vision and dental insurance. Pay is pretty good too.

Cons

I worked at SCE for over 13 years and ended my career voluntarily. When I first started it was a horrible place to work, no work life balance, 12 hour days and saturdays, and horrible management. It had gotten better later in my career with changes in management (my supervisor at the time that I resigned was actually a pretty good guy), ten hour days and no weekends. Opportunity for advancement is still lacking there and is one of the reasons for ending my employment with the company. Another reason I left is because upper management refused to hire anybody for my department since before the pandemic, we’ve lost numerous employees in the past 3 years and no replacements which had led to the few employees we had left to pick up the slack. This is physical work and requires employees to be lifting items alone that any other company would require “team-lift” techniques. This has been voiced to HR and from what I hear from current employees, has gone unanswered. This gives the impression that the company doesn’t care about employees wellbeing.

Pros

Easy to get raises if you work hard.

Cons

It’s kind of like a Chinese sweat shop.
