Money's nice, but the waiting sucks

Money, all I can think of at the moment

Cons

Essentially forced by senior management to drive in an ice storm by dispatch, was given choice to drive in full cmv ban in PA or take an un-excused absence. On daily basis, wake up at 7pm, and wait until I get work assigned to me... sometimes as late as 4am.

Horrible work-life balance but great pay

Pros

Pay is excellent, benefits are decent. Senior drivers and road drivers have great trucks.

Cons

Long long long work days, management does not listen to drivers, pushed to do unsafe driving. City drivers get bottom of the barrel equipment unless you've been there a long time.
