Pros

Excellent health and tuition benefits. Generous vacation and sick time.

Cons

Zero opportunity to advance without changing departments. Useless HR (harassment is 100% tolerated), low pay even for a university, tone-deaf management at all levels. Under Pestello upper management has become more and more bloated while those at the bottom see their wages stagnate or jobs cut. Every problem is solved by hiring a new VP. The rebranding was expensive and unnecessary - 100% an ego project for a new CEO.

Nice Benefits, but otherwise a disaster

Pros

The benefits are great. Time off, flexibility, Tuition remission, 403(b), they are all great.

Cons

IT is a disaster. Hands down a directionless, muddy quagmire that has been driven into the dirt by IT leadership. Everything in IT has been offshored to HCL in India, and thus there is no chance for career development, no advancement, there are grunts, and then there are Directors and AVPs in IT. Nothing in the middle. The Finance department is in the same boat, and I believe HR is going to be outsourced as well.
