Pros

Newly introduced employee discount but they didn't have it when I was there.

Cons

-Executive leadership is overwhelmingly dominated by white males, misaligning with Sheila Johnson’s vision of diversity and inclusivity. -A culture that pushes away talented employees, especially if they are perceived as a "threat." -Corporate sales team suffers from ineffective leadership, resulting in poor performance and lack of direction on the property level. Complete waste of money. -Lack of support, communication, and appreciation for employees at all levels. - Workplace culture that stifles innovation and discourages growth opportunities. -Overall, while the company's founding vision is inspiring, the leadership and execution fail to live up to it, making this a challenging and unsupportive work environment.

Five Star Properties, But A One Star Corporate Team

Pros

Has so much potential as a brand to authentically foster inside a true culture of empowerment that truthfully matches the vision of the founder and owner.

Cons

The corporate team is one of the worst I have seen in communicating and truly does not authentically live the values that the founder/owner preaches when out in public. On the operations side, corporate runs the brand like a start up, ops and everything constantly disorganized or unnecessary fire drills. They also do not respect their property managers and directors, especially those of color. The corporate team needs to be shaken up badly and because of them, the brand has ridiculous turnover. Also at the corporate level, it is not diverse as it should be and this has been in question many of times. You can’t preach diversity and the importance of representation and not have any on the team. I would not recommend working here until changes are made at the corporate level to refresh leadership.
