Pros

Your manager and coworkers are collaborative and kind. The shared mission of the company tends to unite staff. There is an effort from management to keep people on board rather than doing layoffs immediately. Radio and media is fun to be a part of as an industry.

Cons

There are growing pains as with any organization in the revenue generating areas such as sales.

Pros

Owned and operated websites, podcasts, personalities etc.

Cons

This is not to reflect on the entire org, just the management in the northeast. Delisted by NASDAQ, selling off assets/stations, desperate sales management, bipolar office environment, mostly negative sales meetings berating sales when they've been on board only several weeks:) Reeked of desperation. accusatory, you know nothing, they know everything. Misrepresented the oppty. compensation, time in office. Also, a selling sales manager is never a positive, poaching, zero transparency. You're essentially an entry-level business development rep feeding opps to mgmt. Then because they're under so much pressure they skip steps in the sales process to get deals in by the end of the month jeopardizing the entire deal. Meanwhile, corporate training is outcome strategic selling, not transactional sales. Look out if the oppty goes beyond three calls, all hell will break loose. They also outsource some of the key services that you sell, don't even do it in-house. Heck you can go 1099 and partner up and do that on your own if you want to start an agency. This is a legacy media/radio company that's trying to go digital yet their still stuck in the stone age
