Work from home with one in office was good.

Cons

Management doesn't have a good understanding of digital media. Plus, hard to get sales unless people who buy believe in the far right agenda. Benefits were also expensive and not the best.

Pros

The entire interview process was incredibly smooth. The interviewers were big on communication and underpromised and overdelivered. Each manager and employee that I have come in contact with at Salem have been nothing but kind and encouraging. They truly care about each employees wellbeing and work-life balance. Additionally, there is a ton of room for growth and promotion within the company.

Cons

None that I have noticed so far.

Good Corporate Leadership, Poor Local management.

Pros

Local manager clueless about digital and invests zero in the market. Management pushes sales people to sell to ANYONE regardless of the client's advertising strategy. Only cares about KPI's and not client business or employees. CYA is the mantra, not providing relevant solutions to clients.

Cons

Corporate is clueless about what really happens in the local market from a management perspective. Bottom line revenue is the only care, regardless of attrition, morale or just smart selling. I suggest that a senior leader hop on a plane and visit Detroit unannounced. It's a mess. By the way, I've been in this business 20+ years. It's still a mess.
