Pros

Excellent work environment, the atmosphere is very warm and friendly, and all the employees across departments and including upper management are extremely welcoming. The layout of the office is great, the break-room is above average, and the location downtown couldn't be better. Parking is paid for in a nearby garage, and there are plenty of lunch options ranging in price within walking distance. There are also great walking paths to explore during lunch breaks. Team meetings have been very helpful, all staff meetings are casual and fun. The dress code is reasonable and comfortable. HR is extremely helpful and able to answer questions quickly whenever they arise. Also more than anything else I really enjoy the actual work I do on a day to day basis. I love coming to work here, and I feel fortunate and blessed every day to be part of this amazing Christ-promoting company.

Cons

Downtown traffic after 5, a small price to pay.

Pros

Members of staff who are quite professional no matter what. Opportunity to listen to great ministries on the air.

Cons

Intentionally ethnically homogenous staffing, so comfortable that minority employees have been told racist jokes. Women are not treated as equals. Morality is second to income, and a number of employees who would not bend their morality have been eliminated or quit. People are second to income, and an excellent, profitable employee was let go rather than simply shown the personal appreciation that would have kept this employee in place. Complaints to corporate management are bounced back to local without action. Complaints to the Salem ethics resource were deemed merely low morale despite material evidence to the contrary.
