      Promote from within, easy to climb up

      Cons

      Employees form cliques and cast people in or out. There are managers who won't even say "hi" or "good morning" when you greet them. They act differently to their managers so this high school type of culture continues. It could be because many of them have only completed high school. Also, each location is like a different company. It's unhealthy for company growth.

      A paycheck if you need one other than that no pros.

      Cons

      No work-life balance, leadership is very poor with lack of direction and forward thinking. Managers are promoted on a if they like you mindset instead of being qualified or not.
