Pros

The pay is great, the people are better! I started at Sallie Mae in 2009 on the phones. If you are willing to work hard they are happy to promote and pay handsomely. Pay is very important to me, but being happy with what I do day in and day out is more important. You can find a purpose at Sallie Mae, one you can be proud of.

Cons

We are a smaller company, so if you are someone that likes to swim in your lane it can be difficult to do here. I'm constantly asked to help other groups out because of my skill set and coding abilities. For me this is no big deal, but I can see how some may find it annoying or unacceptable.
