Pros

Like a family Test out new products monthly Incentives

Cons

The only con I had was working every weekend but that's normal and not really a con in my opinion. Just something that was needed. Of course weekends off would be nice but it wasn't terrible.

You learn a lot about beauty products. Most of the managers are great. Free samples monthly. You work individually and on your own time.

Cons

RM's and above are shady and delusional. You can be let go without any type of investigation so, false comments towards you can get you terminated! DRAMA!!! DRAMA!!!! DRAMA!!!

Pros

Sometimes you get free samples

Cons

Illegal activities such as threatening to fire employees if they don't come in to cover other stores on their days off (my coworker had a doctor's appointment and couldn't; they made her reschedule her appointment). Corporate wouldn't let us order store supplies for 2 months so we didn't have bags. I had to give one stylist her items in a giant trash bag. Also I was told I would get a performance review (meaning raise) six months after starting and then get yearly reviews, but they keep changing the policy so after a year and a half I still won't have been reviewed. Also they keep cutting hours and yet giving us a larger workload. As part of "rebranding" each store has to be painted. The company expects the store managers to paint the entire store alone but hasn't given any extra hours to use for this. I guess this works if you're on salary, but managers in my district have been switched to hourly, and some have resorted to working off the clock just to finish painting the store in time so upper management doesn't give them write-ups. I give this company two years tops
