Close to home Rarely lays off or cuts staff All the O/T you want Work is simple and no lifting

Cons

No opportunity for any decent career here unless you are young, male, white, and know someone important in company.. I wouldn't recommend Samtec to any young person, especially females. Integrity, Intelligence, Education, and Innovation mean nothing to this company, so if you choose to work here, suck up to anyone above you. Even when it's ridiculous, you must reiterate what management tells you and say Samtec is perfect and the best company you've ever worked for. If you complain, you're labeled as having a bad attitude even when problems addressed are accompanied by ways to improve.
