This is about Procurement Team - Too much micro management, inflexible and extremely bureaucratic. The management will tell you what meetings are mandatory, where to sit in the meeting room (remote joining not allowed), demand (not request) that you be available during your off office hours, how, when and what to write in emails, how to perform your work (it does not matter if you know already, do it the way they want) and requires a lot of unnecessary, dumb and time consuming tasks/reports. This team probably has the company's highest attrition rate and employee satisfaction is least of the priorities. A lot of negative motivation. No career path or growth. Its good to switch off your brain and just follow instructions.
