      Pros

      Pay structure is good, in good yard the bonus is sizable. Still a growing industry.

      Cons

      Politics at all levels. Focus on moving jobs from US to India, Israel and other her lower cost Asian countries. Lots of good talent has left the company. Very poor execution on projects, decision making is poor at executive management levels. Regular cancellation of projects and laying off entire teams only to bring back the project a year later. No accountability by senior management for these poor decisions. If senior executives don't have the accountability how can you expect it from the rest of the organization.

      -Good Employee benefits and pays well -Organize lot of fun activities -Heavily into charity events

      Cons

      - Reorg pretty often - Some department do not have visibility into future projects - If you are not a hardware person, difficult to switch projects within the company. May be not be a best place for Software engineers.

Same goes for our commitment to community service; it has been outlined as one of SanDisk’s corporate goals to reach 100% employee participation in community service events and we are proud to report we have almost reached our goal with 93% of our employees regularly volunteering each year! In regards to your comments about our frequent reorgs, we recognize that our missed estimates in Q4 and Q1 led to a lack of stability in several departments but we are hopefully that our positive results this past quarter marked a turning point towards a promising upcoming year.
