Pros

Multi Cuiture company, with many talented engineers. Not so big (yet), but so much experience, Since it has so many sites around the world, you will get the chance to travel and visit many countries. good brand.

Cons

Doesn't invest in engineering, specially the site in Milpitas. Many re-organization in engineering, affects the motivation . Moving most of the development to India. SanDisk has lost the leadership in NAND technology and losing many good engineers.

Pros

the company provides great benefits, the coworkers are friendly. cafe food is descent, they used to provide beagles on Fridays. they also will support you on higher education.

Cons

work life balance sucks, management expects 10 hours plus a day from you. noticed some favoritism as well. management does not recognize you for your achievements.

Pros

There are some pretty awesome perks, but this varies from site to site. Some sites have Gyms others have cafeterias. Actually, the cafeteria is why I stay.

Cons

Clear communication about what needs to be done and when would be really nice. Roles are not clear and this causes confusion, and churning around trying to figure out who's supposed to do what. At times I have been asked by management to do someone else's job, and when it is pointed out that it is someone else's job, they expect me to project manage the person whose job it is even though that is not my role.
