Pros

- culture is collaborative, humble, and accountability - benchmarked pay, equity, 401k match, and health benefits - flexible PTO, sick leave, and paid holidays - growth, training, and an annual store leadership conference - modern tools and an AI chatbot to help with operations questions - culture events like march madness, prediction pools, and dungeons and dragons - fun environment, but still very focused on results

Cons

- priorities can evolve quickly - teams expected to stay adaptable - periods where workloads increase or direction changes

Pros

Great coworkers, fun environment, love seeing the equipment growth

Cons

Economic balance with hardship of Labor cuts, every year feels like there’s big changes that put pressure on in store employees. Tourist don’t buy upsells so it’s a constant hard sell, personally have given ideas to sell merch for customers but it went nowhere.

Pros

PTO and insurance is good Good learning experience if you have never had a customer service/low level management job before

Cons

Communication from corporate is very lacking Pay and subsequent raises are inadequate No upwards mobility (I've been stuck in the same position for years and there is no end in sight) Hours are never guaranteed due to super strict labor budgets Work-life balance is extremely difficult (expect to get slack messages a lot if you are a GM!) The store can get extremely chaotic and noisy, to the point where you are having to fully scream instructions for your guests to hear you (I've lost my voice after a shift multiple times) You will have to deal with children, drunk/high people, and verbally abusive customers (I had a customer cuss me out/threaten me and corporate told me I wasn't allowed to ban them from coming in again)
